House fire in Point Loma causes serious damages
A house fire that occurred in Point Loma resulted in the injury of two victims and damages that amounted to about $700,000 to repair, report officials.
The fire consumed a two-story home located on Nippon Street near Poinsettia Drive and was called in to firefighters a little before 5 p.m., a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department spokesman reported. It took about three dozen firefighters to bring the fire down as much as possible at 5:45 p.m.
The house suffered damages of $500,000 to both floors and about $200,000 of its inside possessions due to the fire.
The source of the fire was unknown as of last night.
