Woman hit in the head with pistol by attacker
A woman on her way to work in Linda Vista was hit in the head with a pistol by an attacker, but she successfully escaped from the man who took hold of her.
She was headed down Eastman Street near Fulton Street around 6:15 a.m. when her attacker came up and held tightly onto her and then started to drag her across the ground, San Diego police report.
The woman retaliated and defended herself putting up a fight and then the man used a gun to smack her on the head. He was seen leaving the scene in a dark sedan. Police transported the woman to a hospital where doctor’s helped to alleviate her head injury.
