Bicyclist killed in accident with police car
A bicyclist was hit by a San Diego Police Department vehicle and died in University City Monday morning. The accident was called in around 7:19 a.m. on Governor Drive near Genesee Avenue, San Diego police reported.
A dispatcher with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department informed that the bicyclist died instantly at the place where he was hit. More information regarding the accident have not been given. Police remained at the location to direct traffic around the scene.
