Car crashes on I-5 and kills one
In a recent report, at least one person died in an auto accident on the northbound Interstate 5 Monday night between Oceanside and the Orange County line, reported the California Highway Patrol.
According to witnesses, the vehicle was traveling at high speeds and then lost control at around 10 p.m. The car flipped over multiple times and landed on its roof with all the windows broken, the CHP stated. The accident took place about a half-mile south of the where the trucks are weighed right by the county line.
A Sheriff’s Department helicopter was called to report to the location and looked for any passengers who may have been thrown out of the vehicle.
