Man opens fire on group of men
Police took a man into custody under suspicion of shooting at a group of men in Mountain View Wednesday night.
The victims, who were not struck by the bullets, were hanging around in a courtyard on National Avenue near South 38th Street around 11 p.m. when a man walked into the middle of the street and started making gang threats and provoking a fight, San Diego police reported.
He then pulled out a handgun and starting shooting at the men. He fired three times, police stated.
He took off running but was later intercepted and taken into custody under accusations of assault with a deadly weapon, police stated.
