Man shot in knee and fails to cooperate with officials
A man who was shot in the knee Tuesday afternoon is said to be healing at a hospital and is supposed to live, the Sheriff’s Department reported.
Witnesses called officials stating that they had heard about four or five gunshots fire by the intersection of Ninth Street and B Street around 1:50 p.m., the Sheriff’s Department stated. Deputies came across a man limping and bleeding from a knee injury in front of a home close by, the Sheriff’s Department said. The man did not get along well with officials.
Witnesses said they saw a champagne-colored Toyota Tundra pickup and a dark sedan quickly drive away from the location right after the shooting, the Sheriff’s Department reported. The shooter has not been found yet.
