Missing child and two adults found at Valley Center farm
An Ohio couple and a 4-year-old girl living on the lam were discovered Tuesday at a Christian organic farm in Valley Center.
Authorities received a call from a person who had been living on the farm and read an Amber Alert sign while driving through Las Vegas. The sign had a photo of the truck that the group were driving in and also the license plate number.
Robbie Potter and his girlfriend, Candace Watson, were taken into custody. Haylee Donathan, the daughter of Watson, was healthy and in good condition, authorities report.
Potter had just been let go from jail very recently after serving a sentence for sexual battery on a minor and was supposed to remain away from children. He was currently living at a halfway house in Mansfield, Ohio, when he left the place on May 28 and was missing along with Watson and Haylee, Deputy U.S. Marshal Omar Castillo reported.
