Police searching for man responsible for throwing glass
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in order to find a man responsible for discharging a drinking glass in the middle of a brawl at a bar in Mission Hills that critically injured another person.
The man was at the Lamplighter located on West Washington Street near Goldfinch Street Feb. 20 when two individuals began arguing, San Diego police reported.
The person who was struck with the glass was sliced in the face and suffers long-term vision problems and will need to get cosmetic surgery, police stated.
The attacker is said to be a white male, in his early 30’s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with dark brown hair. He was dressed in a blue striped long sleeve shirt and was with a woman.
Anyone with information is asked to contact San Diego police at (619) 692-4800 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 where tipsters may remain anonymous and could receive up to $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
