Infant run over by grandfather driving car
An 18-month-old baby boy was placed in the hospital for medical treatment Wednesday after his grandpa rolled over him in a car, officials reported.
The tragic incident was called in at 2:16 p.m. on Beta Street near South 37th Street.
The infant was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital with face wounds, possibly a fractured arm and fractured shoulder, and possible internal wounds, a police spokesman stated.
