Teenage girl stabbed six times

A teenage girl was stabbed six times Thursday night in Valencia Park by another teenage girl who fled and then came back with a car full of people threatening to hurt her again, San Diego police reported. 

The victim, said to be around 17 or 18 years old, received medical aide at a hospital for stab injuries to the face, back, arm and shoulder. She was stabbed with an unidentified sharp weapon, police stated. 

The attack took place on Imperial Avenue by Santa Margarita Street.

The attacker was said to be a 16- to 19-year-old heavyset black female with a ponytail who was dressed in basketball shorts.

Internet fight escalates to stabbing

A teenager upset about an Internet argument stabbed a woman in Normal Heights Saturday afternoon.

The girl, who looked around the age of 15, entered the business located on Wilson Avenue near Meade Avenue just after 4:30 p.m., San Diego police reported.

She stabbed the 50-year-old woman with a sharp weapon and then informed her that her “daughter would be next,” police stated.

According to investigators, the stabbing is a result of a fight that started with the victim’s daughter and the attacker on MySpace or Facebook.

The girl ran away after stabbing the woman, police informed. The victim denied medical aide.

Man stabs another man in face during fight

One man was taken into custody for charges of assault with a deadly weapon in an incident in which he is accused of stabbing another man in the face in the middle of a brawl in downtown East Village.

The men were at 15th Street and Imperial Avenue around 5:30 p.m. when they began to dispute, San Diego police stated.

A 26-year-old man socked a 35-year-old in the face and he reacted by pulling out a knife and stabbing him in the face, police reported. The man stabbed in the face was transported to a hospital and the man with the knife was arrested.

Late night stabbings under investigation

Homicide detectives were scanning the scene of a stabbing that occurred Saturday morning in San Marcos that involved multiple victims, the county Sheriff’s department reported.

The stabbing was called in a little after 3 a.m. by the intersection of South Rancho Santa Fe Road and La Colusa Drive in San Marcos.

Victims were transported to a hospital, but sheriff’s officials who were contacted did not have any more details regarding their conditions of what exactly happened in the stabbing.

Young teen jumped and stabbed multiple times

A 14-year-old boy was a victim of a stabbing Tuesday night in which he was stabbed multiple times in what is thought to be a gang-related incident.

The boy was traveling on West 8th Street near South Escondido Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. when a group of about ten people walked up to him and started running after him and shouting out gang threats, reported Escondido police Sgt. Eric Skaja.

They jumped the boy and stabbed him a minimum of six times, one of which was in his chest, Skaja stated.

He was placed in the hospital for treatment and is expected to heal.

Police spoke with witnesses but no one was able to report what the people looked like, Skaja stated.

Man stabbed in attempt to catch his own thief

A man tracking down another man who robbed him of his money was stabbed multiple times in City Heights Saturday night. Both men were in a liquor store at 35th Street and University Avenue at 5 p.m. when they began to fight and one of them took cash from the other’s grip, San Diego police reported.

The man took off running and the other came running after him and confronted him, but the robber pulled out a knife and plunged it into the victim’s stomach a number of times, police reported.

The attacker took off running again and was last spotted running south in the alley east of 35th, police stated. He was said to be a black male, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and bald. He was dressed in a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he received medical aide and was expected to survive.

Man found guilty of murder in two stabbing deaths

A man who was found guilty of stabbing two people, one of which was his former wife, was sentenced to serve 21 years plus a life term in jail as of Monday.

Miguel Delvalle, 49, was found guilty of attempted murder in a San Diego court in February.

Lawywers argued that Delvalle confronted his ex-wife at a market locatted on Ocean View Boulevard in Mountain View on April 21. She was with her fiance during the encounter.

He stabbed the man numerous times before running after his ex-wife and attacking her with a knife as well in the neck and ace. Witnesses report that he shouted threats of murder at her.

Prosecutor Dan Link debated to the jury that the attack was motivated by jealousy or intense anger. Jurors found  him guilty of one charge of premeditated attempted murder and another of attempted murder, as well as charges of causing severe body injury.

Link stated that Delvalle will first serve the 21-year sentence and then start the life term next. He will not be faced with the possibility of parole until seven years of his life sentence have been completed.

Attackers chase and stab man

A 25-year-old man was severely hurt in a stabbing that occurred early Saturday in North Park. A dispute at a taco shop escalated into a stabbing, police reported.

The victim and two other men were began to fight at Rigoberto’s Taco Shop located on University Avenue by Oregon Street around 3:30 a.m., San Diego police stated.

The attackers ran after the man, and stabbed him over and over behind a cafe about a block down the road.

The victim had severe lung damage, but is expected to recover, police informed. The attackers took off running.

Group of people attacks four others in stabbing

Four people were wounded in a stabbing on Sunday on Vera Street by Valley Avenue, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman reported.

A group of about 10 other people approached the victims around 7 p.m., the spokesman stated. They are expected to recover and detectives are currently handling the case.

A description of the attackers was not given right away. Some of the group members are thought to be part of a street gang in the area, the Sheriff’s Department reported.

Teen stabbed by group of attackers

Police have taken one man into custody and another is being searched for after a teen was stabbed Tuesday afternoon in a street fight, police reported.

A group of teenagers were heading towards Broadway and E Street a little before 4 p.m. when a group of attackers came up to the boys and upset about them assaulting one of their friends, police Lt. Fritz Reber reported.

Two men pulled up along side the boys in a silver car and one of the men flashed his tire iron or crow bar at the boys. The teens attempted to run away, but one of the 17-year-old boy’s was stabbed in the upper back. He is expected to survive.

An 18-year-old man identified as the man who waved the tire iron at the victims was taken into custody for charges of assault with a deadly weapon. A silver 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage was taken by officials to be searched for evidence, Reber stated.

Police are currently looking for the man who stabbed the victim. He was said to be Latino, around the age of 30, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with long black hair. He was dressed in a black tank top, Reber added.
